flat border
A flat border is a polyurethane border element with a plain, flat-profiled surface, forming a horizontal or vertical line on the wall. It is used to divide the wall surface, separate two different paint or cladding areas and create framing. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted; unlike wood it is not affected by moisture, and unlike plaster it does not break during installation. Because it is mould-cast, the border section is identical along every metre and is cut to the desired length for application. Polure produces flat borders in different widths and thicknesses.
