plain wall moulding

A plain wall moulding is a thin, flat-profile polyurethane wall strip with no relief pattern on its surface. It is applied horizontally to separate colour transitions on a wall, to mark the upper edge of wainscoting, or to frame painted areas. The polyurethane material is light and is fixed directly to the wall with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or peel, and can be painted. Compared with plaster moulding it has a lower risk of breaking, unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture, and it installs quickly. Because the profile is flat, cutting and joining are easy.
