plain cornice

A plain cornice is a polyurethane ceiling cornice with a simple cross-section and no relief pattern on its surface. It is used to close the ceiling-to-wall joint with a clean transition and to give the room a framing line. The polyurethane material is light and is applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or peel, and can be painted. Compared with plaster cornice it has a lower risk of breaking, its installation is dry and fast, and it requires no plumbing. The flat cross-section makes mitre corner joints easy. Polure produces plain cornice by casting in different width and height options; the profile cross-section repeats identically on every piece.
