wide cornice moulding

A wide cornice moulding is a polyurethane ceiling profile with a broad cross-section that creates a wide band at the junction of wall and ceiling. It is used in high-ceilinged halls and large spaces to clearly emphasise the ceiling-to-wall transition. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied to the ceiling-wall corner with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted to match the ceiling colour. Despite being broad, it is light compared to a plaster cornice moulding, so it installs quickly and adds no extra load to the ceiling. Because it is mould-produced, the cross-section and surface pattern of the profile repeat identically on every piece.
