Concealed Light Strip Profile
A concealed light strip profile is a channelled polyurethane profile that holds an LED strip inside and provides indirect lighting by hiding the light source. It is used to create ambient light along ceiling edges and wall runs; the front face can be flat or ornamented to suit the space. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Because the hidden channel is mould-cast to a standard LED strip size, the strip seats properly and the light reflects evenly onto the surface. Being lighter than plaster equivalents, it adds no extra load at the ceiling edge and installs quickly. Polure produces concealed light strip profiles in different sections and channel widths.
