helix column

A helix column is a decorative column element made from polyurethane with a shaft worked in a twisted, spiral form. It is used around entrances, at living room transitions and on facades to create a dynamic, twisted appearance. Polyurethane is much lighter than stone or concrete, so a single person can carry it and apply it to the surface with construction adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell, and can be painted. Because the spiral shaft detail is moulded, it repeats identically on every piece. The shaft, capital and base are assembled as separate parts. Polure produces the helix column in different diameter and height options.
