An indoor skirting board is a polyurethane profile applied horizontally along the joint between wall and floor, covering and protecting that line. It is used in living rooms, hallways and bedrooms to shield the base of the wall from knocks and to create a clean finishing edge. The polyurethane material is light and bonds directly with mounting adhesive; because it is moisture-resistant it does not absorb water and swell like a wooden skirting, nor does it rot, and it can be painted. It resists impact, will not crack or blister. As each piece is mould-cast, the profile cross-section is identical along every metre and joints align cleanly.
