A scallop motif border is a polyurethane strip element that forms a line on a wall or ceiling, with a repeating relief motif inspired by the scallop shell form on its surface. It is used to divide a wall surface, form a frame or add an ornamented line along a ceiling edge; it is favoured as a decorative border in spaces such as living rooms and halls. The polyurethane material is light and applies directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or blister, and can be painted. As it is mould-cast, the scallop motif repeats with the same sharpness along every metre and joints align without breaking the pattern continuity.
