Door and window decor refers to the decorative polyurethane detailing elements applied around door and window openings. With pieces such as surrounds, casings, crowns and plinths, it is used to frame openings and give a classical look to a facade or interior wall. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. When used on an exterior facade, it is unaffected by moisture and weather conditions and, unlike plaster or wood, requires no maintenance.
