over-door ornament

An over-door ornament is a relief polyurethane decorative piece mounted on the upper part of a door. It is used indoors to add ornamentation to the doorway and provide an architectural accent. The polyurethane is lightweight and applies directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Compared with wood and plaster, it is easier to handle and install. Because the pieces are mould-cast, the ornament detail repeats identically on every unit.
