A cornice corner piece is a polyurethane decorative element that lets straight cornice profiles meet neatly and symmetrically where two walls join at a corner. Instead of cutting and fitting straight lengths at the corner, a ready-made corner piece gives you a clean, symmetrical transition. It is used in cornice work on the ceilings of living rooms, hallways and lounges. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly to the ceiling with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or blister, and can be painted in any colour. Because it has a lower risk of breaking than its plaster counterpart, it produces less waste during handling and installation.
