cornice installation

Cornice installation is the process of gluing and fixing cornice profiles along the line where the ceiling meets the wall. The profiles are cut to size, mitred at the corners and applied to the ceiling with construction adhesive. It is done to frame the ceiling edge in spaces such as living rooms, hallways and lounges. Because polyurethane cornice is lightweight, it can be carried and held even by one person; it breaks less than plaster profiles and shortens installation time. The material resists moisture and impact, will not crack or blister, and can be painted any colour after fitting. The profiles are temporarily supported with tape until the adhesive sets.
