Coffered ceiling models refer to the different pattern, size and depth options of polyurethane coffered ceiling systems that divide the ceiling into square and rectangular frames. The options, ranging from plain flat-framed models to classical models with centrepiece and border detail, are chosen according to the ceiling height and the style of the space. They are used on living room, office and entrance hall ceilings. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed to the ceiling with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or blister, and can be painted. Being lighter than wooden counterparts and unaffected by moisture, it can also be used in areas near wet rooms.
