facade string course profile

A facade string course profile is a polyurethane profile piece with a specific section and pattern, used in the string course application that separates storeys horizontally on a building facade. The profiles are joined end to end to form a continuous horizontal line along the facade. They are used on villa, apartment and commercial building facades. The polyurethane profile is lightweight and is fixed directly to the facade with construction adhesive; it resists moisture, sun and impact, will not crack or blister, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being much lighter than a stone or concrete profile, it adds no extra load to the facade and speeds up installation. Since it is mould-cast, the profile section stays the same on every piece and the pattern does not shift at the joints.
