curved ceiling profile

A curved ceiling profile is a polyurethane profile applied with a curved line at the ceiling-to-wall junction or on the ceiling surface. It is used in spaces where a soft transition is preferred instead of a straight cornice, and at the edges of domes and oval ceilings; by rounding the corner it creates a graduated transition between ceiling and wall. The polyurethane material is light, and because the curved form is mould-produced it runs evenly along the curve; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. It is applied directly to the ceiling and wall with mounting adhesive, lighter and faster to install than its plaster equivalent. Polure produces curved ceiling profiles in different radius and width options.
