arched surround applications

Arched surround applications are the works of placing curved, arch-form surround pieces around window and door openings on facades and in interiors. In classical-style buildings they are carried out to add an arch line to the top of openings and to obtain a frame integrated with the side surrounds. Keystones and bosses complete these applications. Polyurethane surround pieces are lightweight and attach directly to the surface with mounting adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or blister, and are paintable. Being lightweight, they allow fast installation by a single person. Being mould-cast, the arch profile repeats identically on all openings. Polure produces pieces in different span and profile sizes for arched surround applications.
