keystone decoration

Keystone decoration is polyurethane facade and interior ornamentation made by adding a keystone to the top point of arched openings. On window, door and facade arches it is applied to emphasise the centre of the arch and give a classical appearance; it is used together with the surround and arch profile. The polyurethane keystone and surrounds are lightweight and attach to the surface with mounting adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or blister, and are paintable. Being much lighter than their stone equivalent, they are easy to apply even on high facades. Being mould-cast, the keystone details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces keystones and matching arch pieces in different sizes for keystone decoration.
