Classical wood carving is a polyurethane decorative ornament element that imitates the motifs of traditional wood carving. It reproduces the leaf, scroll and floral patterns of hand-carved woodwork in polyurethane; it is applied in places such as furniture fronts, over doors, mirror frames and wall panels. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. It is obtained much faster and at lower cost than real wood carving; it does not rot, attract insects or crack when it absorbs moisture.
