classical baluster

A classical baluster is a polyurethane element used in balcony, terrace and stair railings that forms the vertical, repeating infill posts of the railing. These posts, usually with a vase-like profile, are arranged between the lower and upper railing rails to form the classical railing infill. The polyurethane material is lightweight and easy to install; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than a stone or concrete baluster equivalent speeds up carrying and arranging, and it withstands moisture on exterior facades. Because it is mould-produced, the profile is the same on every post, which gives a neat appearance in a sequential arrangement.
