classic wall pediment

A classic wall pediment is a decorative element placed above a door, window or wall panel, formed in a triangular or curved shape in classical architecture. It is used to crown a section of the wall and accent its upper edge. The pediment made from polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly to the wall with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted. It is easier to handle than wood and plaster equivalents and installs quickly. Because it is mould-produced, the surface details repeat identically on every piece.
