Classic Column Capital

A classic column capital is an ornamented top element placed at the upper part of a column shaft, drawing on the classical architectural orders and produced from polyurethane. At the top of columns and pilasters it serves as a transition element connecting the shaft to the ceiling or beam. The polyurethane material is light and applied with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Thanks to its light structure it is easily mounted at a high point, and because it is mould-produced the ornamental details repeat the same on every capital. Polure produces classic column capitals in sizes suited to different column diameters.
