classic cornice
A classic cornice is a horizontal polyurethane band element with classical architectural profiles, used at the top of a wall or at the wall-ceiling junction. By framing the ceiling edge it gives the room a classic line and is also preferred for indirect lighting. The polyurethane material is light and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster cornice it does not crack at the joints and installs quickly. Because it is mould-produced, the profile details repeat the same on every piece. Polure produces classic cornice models in a range of widths and profile options.
