A classic window surround ornament is a polyurethane decorative element added to the top or corner areas of window and door surrounds. With pieces such as a keystone, corner rosette, boss or relief motif, it is used to enrich the appearance of the surround. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly onto the surround with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster ornament, it is easily applied at high points. Because each piece is mould-cast, the motif details repeat identically across every unit.
