A wainscoting finish trim is a polyurethane profile used to conceal the top, bottom, or edge finish line of wall wainscoting and create a clean transition. It is applied where the wainscoting panel meets the wall or ceiling to provide a tidy edge line. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted. Unlike a wooden trim it is unaffected by moisture, and unlike a plaster equivalent it does not break during installation.
