LED coving models
LED coving models are a product group covering hollow-channel polyurethane coving types into which an LED strip can be placed. They are used at the ceiling-to-wall junction to both create a decorative border and provide concealed lighting; the light source is hidden inside the profile. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted. Being much lighter than plaster coving, it is mounted quickly without adding extra load to the ceiling and does not break during installation. Because they are cast in a mold, the profile and channel details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces LED coving models in various cross-section options.
