Stair Railing Models

Stair railing models is the general name for polyurethane railing designs with different profile and ornamental options applied along the edge of a staircase. The railing, formed by combining the handrail, newel posts and balusters, gives the staircase both a safety and a decorative frame. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied as a cladding over a load-bearing core, or as a light decorative element fixed with mounting adhesive and screws. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted any colour. Being lighter than solid wood, it installs without joinery work, and the different models are supplied as ready-made profiles. Because it is cast in moulds, the profile details of each model repeat identically between pieces. Polure produces classic and plain-line stair railing models in a range of sizes.
