Stair Profile

A stair profile is a polyurethane decorative profile with a specific section, used at the edges of stair treads, handrails or railings. It is used to frame the edge and transition lines of a staircase and to organise handrail and railing connections. Polyurethane is lightweight and applies directly to the surface with mounting adhesive, supported by screws where needed. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted any colour. Being lighter than solid wood, it installs as a ready-made profile without joinery work. Because it is cast in moulds, the profile section stays the same along its full length, ensuring a smooth transition along long stair runs. Polure produces stair profiles in various section and size options.
