Architectural detail is the general name for small-scale decorative elements such as surrounds, cornices, reliefs and profiles that give character to a building's surfaces. Used indoors and outdoors at window, door, ceiling and wall transitions, it adds definition to surfaces. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp and can be painted. Compared with plaster or stone it is far lighter and quick to install. Because it is moulded, the details repeat identically on every piece.
