A furniture corner ornament is a polyurethane decorative part applied to the corner areas of furniture facades. It is used as a frame-completing ornament with symmetrical motifs on cabinet, display unit, mirror and panel corners. With scroll and leaf patterns that soften the corner, it gives a plain surface a classical finish. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly with wood glue or construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted.
