modern slat model
A modern slat model refers to the different width, thickness and profile options of plain, flat-profiled polyurethane slats. These models are used to create linear lines, a panelled effect and transition finishes on wall and ceiling surfaces. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. It is lighter and faster to mount than a wood slat and is unaffected by moisture; it is also more break-resistant than plaster. Because it is mould-cast, profile details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces modern slat models in a range of sizes and profile options.
