Modern skirting models are flat-lined, plain-section polyurethane skirting options used at the junction of the wall and floor. With different heights and sections they protect the base of the wall and give a neat floor transition. Unlike classic ornamented skirting, understated, crisp profiles are preferred. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted.
