moisture-resistant panel

A moisture-resistant panel is a decorative polyurethane board made to clad wall surfaces in damp areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and exterior facades. It is used as a relief-textured or flat cladding on walls, adding volume and texture to the surface. Polyurethane does not absorb water and withstands moisture and impact; unlike wood it will not rot or swell, and unlike plaster it will not crack or blister. Because it is light, the panel is fixed straight onto the wall with mounting adhesive and sets quickly. The surface takes paint, so it adapts to the colour you want. Being mould-cast, every panel repeats the same pattern and texture. Polure produces moisture-resistant panels in a range of sizes and patterns.
