water-resistant ornaments

Water-resistant ornaments is the general term for decorative polyurethane pieces made for use in damp areas. It covers items such as motifs, ceiling roses, corbels, corner pieces and borders, applied to walls, ceilings and facades in spaces like bathrooms, kitchens and exterior facades. Polyurethane does not absorb water and withstands moisture and impact; unlike wood it will not rot or swell, and unlike plaster it will not crack or blister. Being light, the ornaments are fixed straight onto the surface with mounting adhesive and set quickly. The surfaces take paint, so they adapt to the colour of the space. Because they are mould-cast, the motif detail repeats the same on every piece. Polure produces water-resistant ornaments in a range of sizes and patterns.
