Neoclassical facade decoration is the ornamentation of a building exterior with classical elements such as casings, cornices, columns and corbels, carrying the symmetrical order of the neoclassical style onto the facade. Used at points such as window surrounds, floor divisions and the entrance, it gives the facade defined lines. Polyurethane decoration elements are lightweight and applied directly to the wall with construction adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. On a facade they are unaffected by moisture compared with plaster alternatives, and lighter and faster to install than stone alternatives.
