Carved motif types is the general term for various polyurethane decorative motifs produced as carved-look relief, such as leaf, rose, acanthus, scroll and geometric patterns. They are used as decorative elements in wall panels, ceiling medallions, and corner and border applications. Polyurethane is lightweight and is fixed directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Compared with carved wood, it is lighter, unaffected by moisture and faster to install. Because each motif is mould-produced, the details repeat identically from piece to piece.
