carved corner motif

A carved corner motif is a decorative polyurethane ornament applied to the corners of walls, frames or panels, carrying a pattern raised in relief by carving. It is used as a corner ornament at panel corners, mirror frame ends and ceiling corners. The polyurethane material is lightweight; it is applied directly with construction adhesive, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Compared with plaster relief it has a low risk of breakage, and unlike wood carving it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the motif details repeat identically on every piece.
