carved ornamental motifs

Carved ornamental motifs are the general name for decorative polyurethane elements with relief patterns raised by carving, used on wall and furniture surfaces. They are applied as single or repeated decoration on cornices, frames, panels and furniture surfaces. The polyurethane material is lightweight; it is applied directly with construction adhesive, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Compared with plaster ornamentation it has a low risk of breakage, and unlike wood carving it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the motif details are exactly the same on every piece. Polure produces carved ornamental motifs in a range of patterns and sizes.
