under-window corbel

An under-window corbel is a console-shaped polyurethane decorative element placed beneath a window sill that gives the appearance of supporting the sill. It is usually applied symmetrically as one or two pieces under the window and creates a classic look on facades and interiors. It can be in curved leaf or volute forms. It is mould-cast from polyurethane; it is light, applied directly to the surface with mounting adhesive, and resistant to moisture and impact. It does not crack or swell and can be painted; it is also suitable for use on exterior facades. It is decorative and does not carry structural load. Being light compared to plaster and stone equivalents makes installation at height easier. Mould production ensures the symmetrical corbels look identical.
