window edge ornament

A window edge ornament is a polyurethane decorative element applied around a window opening to give the frame a more detailed look. It is used on facades and interiors to accent window edges, adding a patterned line on top of plain trim. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Being lighter than its plaster equivalent, it is easy to install at high points and is not damaged by water on the facade. Because it is mould-cast, the ornamental detail repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces window edge ornaments in a range of sizes and motifs.
