window edge moulding

Window edge moulding is a polyurethane decorative strip with a defined section, applied along the side and top edges of a window opening. It surrounds the window frame to form an architectural line and is used on facades and interiors. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Unlike timber mouldings it is unaffected by moisture, does not rot and holds its shape on the facade for a long time. Because it is mould-cast, the profile section repeats identically on every piece, which makes clean joints easier. Polure produces window edge moulding in a range of sections and lengths.
