window trim ornament

A window trim ornament is a polyurethane ornamental element added to window trim or used alongside it to give the edges decorative value. It is used around windows on facades and interiors to enrich plain trim with a patterned line. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster detailing, it is easy to handle and install and is not damaged by water on the facade. Because it is mould-cast, the ornamental detail repeats identically on every piece.
