Pilaster lower base models describe the different profiles and sizes of the polyurethane base elements applied to the lower part of a pilaster. They are used to form the lower start where the pilaster shaft meets the floor. Polyurethane is lightweight; it is applied directly with adhesive, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Compared with plaster, the risk of breakage is low; compared with wood, it stands up to damp. Because every model is moulded, details repeat identically from piece to piece.
