Polyurethane Balustrade Systems

Polyurethane balustrade systems are part groups made up of a handrail, balusters (posts), base rail and lower rails, used together as a whole in railing applications. They are produced with matching dimensions to build classic-style railings on balconies, terraces and stairs. The material is lightweight and is applied with mounting adhesive or a mechanical connection; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or warp, and takes paint well. Outdoors, unlike plaster it is unaffected by moisture and temperature change, unlike timber it does not rot, and it is lighter than concrete. A metal inner core can be used for load-bearing strength. Because each piece is cast from a mould, all parts are dimensionally matched and repeat in exactly the same form. Polure produces balustrade systems in a range of heights and models.
