Polyurethane decorative profiles are slim, lengthy polyurethane elements with different cross-sections, used to create lines, frames and transition lines on wall and ceiling surfaces. They are used together to form horizontal and vertical lines in applications such as cornices, borders, bands and panel edges. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or split, and takes paint well. Compared with plaster profiles they travel without breaking and install faster, and unlike wood they are unaffected by moisture. Because they are mould-cast, the cross-section of the same profile stays identical along every metre, and different profiles can be combined harmoniously in one space.
