polyurethane column cladding

Polyurethane column cladding is the application of turning an existing concrete or steel column into a decorative column by fitting polyurethane body and capital pieces over it. It is used indoors and outdoors to conceal exposed structural columns and give a classic column look. The polyurethane material is light and is fixed onto the existing column with adhesive and, where needed, screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted. Being much lighter than stone cladding, it is easily installed around the column; on a facade it is not affected by moisture. It is usually assembled with two half-body pieces wrapping around the column. Polure produces polyurethane column cladding pieces in various internal diameter and height options.
