Polyurethane cornice types are the cornice variants distinguished by section size, profile form and intended use. Plain cornices, ornate classical cornices and cornices with a concealed lighting channel are the main types; they are chosen according to ceiling height and the desired look. The polyurethane material is light and applied directly to the corner with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster cornice, it adds no extra load to the ceiling. Because each type is mould-cast, all pieces of the same type share the same section and detail. Polure produces cornice types in plain, ornate and concealed-lighting versions in a range of section sizes.
