A polyurethane Ottoman crest is a decorative element inspired by the ornamental forms of Ottoman-era crests. It is used as ornamentation on classic and traditional facades, over doors, living room walls and entrances. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly to the surface with construction adhesive; it is resistant to moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Its structure, which is unaffected by moisture, is an advantage for outdoor facade use; it is lighter than plaster and more durable than wood.
