Polyurethane carved ornamentation is a decorative element applied to surfaces to give them a carved look. It is used on walls, ceilings, furniture, doors and panel surfaces to create the effect of classic carving work. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; it is resistant to moisture and impact, is insect-proof, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Compared with hand carving, it gives faster, more consistent results because it is mould-cast; being lightweight and moisture-resistant compared with wood, it makes installation easier. The carving details repeat exactly on every piece. Polure produces carved ornamentation elements in a range of sizes and patterns.
