Polyurethane precast production is the process of manufacturing polyurethane decorative parts in series using the mould method. Liquid polyurethane is poured into moulds carrying the profile of parts such as surrounds, cornices, columns, sills and mouldings; once the material hardens it is removed from the mould, and the same profile repeats on every part. The polyurethane material is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted; this allows the parts to be used both indoors and on facades. Because the parts are lighter than in concrete precast production, transport and installation are easier. Polure carries out precast production with moulds of different sizes and profiles; mould production ensures size and detail consistency between parts.
