Polyurethane decoration types is the general name for the different kinds of polyurethane decorative elements used in surface embellishment. These types include ceiling medallions, cornices, string courses, casings, bosses and corner motifs; each is used at a different surface or junction. They are applied indoors on ceilings and walls, and on facades around openings. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the surface with adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted.
